Rate Packages:
A) Hire Train By the HOUR: Min. 1 Hour
$250 first hour, $150 each additional hour, plus delivery fee*. Unlimited rides. Requires a $100 Deposit to reserve a train. This is a full train (1 engine, 5 cars).
B) Hire Train By the RIDE: Min. 3 Hours
We sell ride tickets at $3 each. Requires a performance deposit of $200 first hour, $50 each additional hour, plus delivery fee*. Deposit is refunded up to full amount, less delivery fee, based on total sales received. Great for carnivals, festivals and fairs.
Fundraisers: Open to working with non-profit organizations to sell rides without deposit. Call to see if your event qualifies.
C) The Birthday Special with "True Train Tales": Min. 1 Hour
$250 first hour, $100 each additional hour, plus delivery fee*. Unlimited rides. This is a small train (1 engine and 3 cars). This package is great for small parties of 25 guests or less. Added feature includes "True Train Tales" as told by the Engineer Skip. Hear real life train stories about the Great Texas Train Wreck called the "Crash at Crush", how Casey Jones saved the lives of the Cannon Ball Express, or Andrews Raiders and the Great Locomotive Chase featuring the GENERAL and the TEXAS, John Henry as the steel driving man and more... Requires a $100 Deposit to reserve. Subject to availability.
Overtime: Pro-rated at the hourly rate in 15 minute increments.
*Delivery Fee:
For events in the immediate Dallas/Fort Worth area the fee is $50 minimum. Outside of a 35 miles radius from downtown Dallas, Texas add .75 cents per mile. Additional Per Diem required for overnight stay.
Multiple Day Events: By quote.
Terms and Payment:
Deposit and delivery fee due upon booking to confirm reservation. Without deposit the date can be dropped without notice. Final payment due 5 days in advance. We accept Cash, Check, major credit cards (Visa, MC, Discover, Amex) 4% surcharge added to total if paid by credit card.
Additional 5% discount when Paid In Full at time of booking. Gratuity accepted.
Operating Area: We prefer a flat surface (like concrete or asphalt) on sidewalks, parking lots, walking paths or driveways, etc. Grass is okay if it is flat and dry. NO Hills. Hills with sharp inclines are not safe for our train or passengers. Parks or public streets may require a permit. Please check with your local Parks and Recreation Dept. for any permit requirements. Permit fees (if required) are the responsibility of the client.
Rain: We generally do not operate in rain. Light rain may be tolerable. Note: We are not held liable for any damage to yards or wet areas that we are asked to operate on during the event.
Train Capacity:
Each train consists of 1 gasoline powered locomotive, 3 to 4 rainbow colored train cars and 1 caboose. Each train car can hold up to 4 small children (up to 22 riders per train), or 2 medium size kids, or 1 adult and two children (up to 5 adults). Only one adult per car due to weight restrictions. Passengers with unruly behavior will be asked to detrain.
Refunds: Refund available, less $50, with more than 24 hours notice. If it rains - we refund all monies for time not preformed except delivery fee, or reschedule the event with you.
Insurance:
We carry full liability insurance up to $2 million. Small fee to be listed as additional insured.
